The Bird Flu away

hi! first of all, before i bore some of you. concerts coming up! i'll help advertise for rock. 13th april. friday the 13th. rock concert. I'm going. haha. and 20th april is jazz concert. I'll be playing. and 19th may is malay drama. whee. titular role. and there will be, i think, english subtitles. whee. and there is talk about a guiar concert after all. yay.
ok, now to the big issue. the H5n1 virus has been stirring up a storm in the media recently. Birds all over the place are dying. Most fittingly, birds were reported dead in turkey. and turkey is a bird. great. were just lucky that our country is not called pigeon. then maybe the virus would hit us next. and indonesia has been hit. not surprising because the national air carrier of the country is garuda. and garuda is a bird, for the benefit of those who didnt know. and that garuda must have caught the flu overseas and brought it back home. pesky international flights. i bet wilbur and orville never thought about that. still, someone should have known to make the garuda wear a facemask or something, or like notice a sneezing plane. something that big cant have gone unnoticed. te noise must have been loud too. but i guess its engines could have drowned out the sneezing. how bout the dripping nose? maybe that garuda airlines crash was a result of the bird flu...
anyway, now indonesia has the bird flu. i really feel sorry for our neighbour. they have to put up with haze, earthquakes, tsunamis, plane crashes, boat crashes, erosion and now bird flu. well we shared some of the hardship, namely the haze and the erosion. well we didnt experience the erosion, but we sure had a hard time. now bird flu. and they refuse to give away samples of the virus. why? because the pharmaceutical companies would just exploit them. well, thats true. but people say that if they dont give the samples, people will die, especially in a pandemic. i dont want to die, but i dont want the MAN get my cash by exploiting my neighbours. go exploit someone your own size. (at this point of time I am addressing the pharmaceuticals) like microsoft or something. send them the virus through the mail. or an email for those tech savvy people. and then they would have to sell you the virus and you can make a profit by selling the vaccine to them at exorbitant prices. see it is better than exploiting poor people. rich people have money which they can dispose of. everyone wins! well as i said, people dont want others to die, even at a price (now that i have addressed the pharmaceuticals, i am now addressing you he reader. if you the reader happen to be part of the pharmaceuticals, then i'll still address you now) well, look at it this way. if indonesia pays for the vaccine, they will be set back economically. that would be bad for a lot of people. even those without bird flu. so maybe letting people die isnt that bad after all. i know thats not right, but we must look on the bright side.
if indonesia does give the samples away, i just hope that the pharmaceuticals will be truthful about the vaccine. it would be a sad day when 2 schoolgirls test out the vaccine for certain stuff but find it completely lacking contrary to what the pharmaceuticals say.
at the back of my mind, i cant help but feel that the pharmaceuticals have already done something. that is the bird flu itself. someone must have created bird flu. birds dont just get flu. they have feathers. the most they get is getting ticklish when their feathers rub them the wrong way.
you know, bird flu might not be such a bad thing after all. it could help kill off the JI...
